I suspected that it might have something to do with having certain lengths of space pipe between the pipe gate and the painters, since most of the time, I can't get it to fix itself just by looking at it.
In a smaller test setup that directly connected platforms with pipe filters to platforms with painters, I could fix it by looking at it.
When looking at it both tanks stay full.
When not looking at them the tank before the gate starts filling, the tank after the fluid gate starts emptying.
Concerning fluid launchers, I made a test without them, same issue. So probably not that primarily.
I have this "Schrödingers Cat"-Feature right now and it drives me crazy.
2 of 4 lanes are bringing just the half of tiles. When I go to the production spot, it needs around 30 second and all belts go full. Magical!
In my case, it has nothing to do with paint (as far as I can see).
<EDIT>
As it stands, I have to revise my statement.
Its totally possible, that the pipe gates are the reason.
No, I mean the pipe gates. Its a new wire item.
