Which ever color you used 2 parts for gets mixed with each of the other two.
Example. 2 red, 1 green and 1 blue.
Red mixes with green (yellow) and red mixes with blue (magenta). Mix these 2 colors together to get white. Since no fluid is lost you will end up with 4 parts white
As for how to get enough for all belts - use the building descriptors to advise you - the building feed icon is a good start.
IE: Red + Green = <whatever color that's called> + Green = White
My problem is, how many blue, how many red and how many green color on how many painters I need, to perfectly paint 4 full belts of tiles.
I often made white color for more belts and it worked, but I never found out the perfect mix for 4 full belts (180/min). Only THIS is my question.
Wait, you can mix a secondary and primary colour to get white? I've been mixing 2 secodary colours
Also, it seems like there's a need of showing why there's the extra of the third one, and how balancing works, and how it's used when painting. I'm also thinking a few blueprints showing things working together may help. Opinions?
eXeZ|Gamer433, you know 1x red and 1x blue makes 2x magenta, and then 2x magenta and 2x green makes 4x white. Then, a full belt of shapes requires 4x painters, and each painter requires 450 of white to paint it white. So, those 4x white go to the 4x painters and you have a full belt of white shapes. It required 1x red, 1x blue, and 2x green to feed the 4x painters.
And, that's not yet the whole story. After that, balance paint production so it's not costing double green. Run a second paint mixing line which uses double red. Make a third which uses double blue. Then, all those combined, uses 4x red, 4x blue, and 4x green, to make 12x white. So, it's all balanced between the primary colors.
Thats a good idea. The Wiki for this game is nearly useless.
The only one answer I got where I think it makes sense, was from Dragonmaster, but I dont know if this is the best balance. But way more important, I have no answer about my main question: What do I need for 4 full lanes?!
Thanks, thats at least an answer to work with.
I didnt know, that I can mix it this way (2x1x1) and it sounds not very logical, to be honest. But if this works, great.
Thank you.
When mixing paint the volume remains the same. Mix 1 part red with one part green you get two parts yellow
To make white you need A + B to make 2xAB and then add C for 3 x white
For the sake of simplicity I'll just do one layer, but all this can be stacked to 3 layers
By alternating which color is mixed with which you perfectly mix 1 red, blue and green space belts to 3 space belts of white.
4 launchers red
4 launchers green
4 launchers blue
Each white mixer produces half a launcher worth of white liquid
To fill one launcher you need 8 mixers making white
Since we want to fill 3 space belts we need 4 launchers = 24 mixers mixing white
I make mine using a second mixer directly connected to the white mixer, this is probably not the most efficient, but it removes the need to route 3 secondary colors. Since the white mixers uses 1/4th launcher of each input, the feeding mixer will require 1/8th launcher worth of input
I use :
8 feeding mixers making yellow (red + green) then add blue.
8 feeding mixers making cyan (green + blue) then add red.
8 Feeding mixers making magenta (blue + red) and add green.
(and adding the 24 white mixers, that's a total of 48 mixers)
So, in launcher terms
8 * 1/8 red + 8 x 1/8 green + 8 x 1/4 blue = 1 red + 1 green + 2 blue
8 * 1/8 green + 8 x 1/8 blue + 8 x 1/4 red = 1 green + 1 blue + 2 red
8 * 1/8 blue + 8 x 1/8 red + 8 x 1/4 green = 1 blue + 1 red + 2 green
All summed up that's 4 launchers of each color, which is what you get from a space belt (per level)
This is also the max throughput of a pipe so you only need to route one pipe of each primary color
Corner with 3 color input. Red bottom, Blue middle, Green top - with filters dependant on the signal that does two jumpers.

Thank you for putting in so much effort for me.
Before my opening question, I build 16 mixers (4 green and 4 red pipes) and the yellow paint from it mixed with 4 blue pipes in 24 mixers = total 40 mixers.
Is working perfectly, but 40 seems brutal much, thats why I was asking for a better/optimal/perfect way.
There are additional 2 questions I have:
1. Question
He/She is working with just two colors? (Red of them used double.)
Is this better than using all 3 colors (1+1+1)?
2. Question
Everyone (and also the ingame help) is saying, that no paint will be lost.
When I can paint with a single color a entire lane (just one color on 4 painters on full 180/Min lane). Why the heck I need 4 red, 4 green and 4 blue (12!) to paint 4 full lanes?!
Where are the other 8 of 12?

To answer your question, four paint stations or three crystal generators requires one jumper, jumper is important as while pipes can transport a lot, if you move between platforms the jumpers are much more limited. But you can join them back up at the other side.
This means for 4 full belts you will need twelve mixers which can be transported a lot less through platforms. This will require 12 full space pipes as above bps or 4 of each color going through 8 mixers to make an off color and then the not used color going to another 4 mixers.
Example:
Red+Blue=Magenta
R+B=Magenta
R+B=Magenta
R+B=Magenta
R+B=Magenta
R+B=Magenta
R+B=Magenta
R+B=Magenta
Magenta + Green = White
M+G = White
M+G = White
M+G = White
Edited as others pointed out my bad late night maths lol
(At least the blueprints have the correct ratios)
