shapez 2

Public blueprint repository?
Last night I created my first true Shapez 'masterpiece'. An evil clustermuck of spaghetti that manages to paint all 12 belts on a 2 x 1 platform. Now that I know it is possible in practice, I'm sure someone has done it well and I'm curious to see other folks solutions. Mine is just a mess, but it works.

Is there somewhere to post/ check out other folks designs? I don't see anything like a 'blueprints' here on Steam. Maybe a discord or similar?

I think the shapez 2 discord has the largest repository.

my opinion, but the most fun for me is working out the structure of an desired output and then creating a blueprint from that. I don't know why it's different for me from other games like Captains of Industry or Factorio, but with this game i find it the case.

I too enjoy seeing others' designs. I like seeing all the variations as well as when someone else does something very similar to me. Please, make a screenshot of your solution and post it here.

I haven't joined the discord so I don't know what's there, yet. I always take a screenshot of it with steam so they can be found there. Also, I use the Vortex site so I have some blueprints there (tho, some of it doesn't work right for me):

Lastly, I have a painter island for you that's on a 1x1 platform with 48x painters:

I usually take the "most important part", like the painter building, and try out a bunch of configurations with it to see if any seem like viable candidates to fit in a compact way. Once I have something which looks interesting, I try to supply its IO to see how bad it gets. Often, I'll do the initial tryouts on a huge platform with lots of extra space. After some trials, I make a border around it with a single belt forming a square showing the size of a 1x1 platform. Then, I try to compact it in there. Most of the time I fail. Eventually, tho, success. It's such a fun game.
