Color Mixing Preview?

Is there a way to preview/solve what colours to mix in order to obtain the desired goal? Currently I would need to mine/ship/combine different combinations to experiment my way to the right colour.

I haven't unlocked circuits yet, so I believe there is a possibility to "simulate" this but I was wondering if there was just an in-game colour mixer somewhere that I could use.

There's only 7 colors in game:

Three primary colors: Red Green Blue
Three Secondary colors made from mixing two primaries: Cyan, Yellow, Magenta
White, combining a secondary color with the third primary (need all three primaries in there)

The colors work like your monitor's RGB pixels:
Red + Green = Yellow
Green + Blue = Cyan
Red + Blue = Magenta

I see there are only 7 colours now when looking a shape preview, so my fear of this being super tedious is unwarranted.

Looking at the tutorial does indeed SHOW all the different colours, but a list or comment regarding this I think could be appreciated. Maybe that's just me.

If you view a shape and mouse over the help icon, it'll give a full list of all the colors, and shapes to boot.

the color mixing is also shown on the icon of the color mixer itself when you look at the toolbar
