Ah.... ok. I guess I need to pay more attention to that flashy corner, then. I've research everything, so I don't need the science, and I'm flush with platforms, so I don't need more of those. I haven't had any urgency to go in and click the buttons for those 6. Now that I've got a minimal MaM running, I need to go back to constantly checking it.
Yeah, most of them I'm not too worried about. They do keep accruing because they're the same shape. However, the two random ones keep making the old parts and do not make any progress on the next part.
In the case of randomized endgame ones (which is what the question was most likely focused on,) you can't complete any more goals either, as the game won't "roll" a new shape until the previous one is claimed.
Unless seed also determines what shapes are randomly asked for, in which case it's possible to "guess" by writing down each shape needed during a previous run with the same seed and spend hours creating a MaM or individual machine sets that will deliver all these shapes to the vortex. Not very practical?
