Don Bradman Cricket Game problems.

Bought DBC 14 PC game a few days back... I installed it.. but few problems are occuring... 1st of all whenever i go back to the main menu after playing the match... the screen starts blinking & fluctuating in the main menu box on the home screen..It only stops when a match again starts. Is this a common problem? Any Solution?

You might have to post your PC specifications for anyone to help you with this. Does your PC meet minimum specs?

Yes my PC matches the specifications - i have i5 2450 M processor 3.10 ghz , Memory 4 GB , NVidia Ge Force graphics card 1 GB. Games like NFS and Ashes 2009 work fine on my computer. Actually now Gampelay is smooth but that light fluctuating as soon as i come back to main menu of the game after playing a match is happening..When game starts it doesnot happen. It happens when i return after playing a match and when the back ground music is being played in the main menu

Yes my PC matches the specs - i5 proccesor , windows 7 , Memory 4 gb . NVidia Graphics card 1 GB . Now the game play looks smooth but the light still fluctuates when i come back to the main menu after playing a match. When the game starts for the 1st time.. It doesnot happen.. It happens afterwards as soon as i return to main menu.. When the match starts its again smooth.. Its occuring only when the background song is playing and i am selecting the variety of match i want to play..

OK...odd issue. Not sure I can help. What specific graphics card are you running and is it using up-to-date drivers? And what do you mean by 'light'? Screen flicker?

yes the screen flickers.. in the main menu and it stops only after match starts.. My graphics card is nvidia geforce 410 M GPU ; 1 GB. yes drivers are uodated

OK...didn't realise that you were running this on a laptop. It might just be a screen resolution or sync issue. Certainly sounds more of a laptop issue than the DBC14 software itself. I have run DBC on a laptop and it runs OK on low-ish settings (but my laptop doesn't have the luxury of a dedicated graphics chip). I haven't seen the screen flicker issue. Look to make sure that you're not running other applications in the background and whatever optimisation features for the graphics chip and the laptop power are enabled.
If that doesn't work...perhaps someone with more understanding of laptop optimisation can help. Best of luck.

Go to the Planet Cricket forums in the don bradman section as the devs are always on there fixing peoples problems. Theres a template on the forum for problems. :)

have you tried to uninstall complete game and download again & install? maybe it might fix the problem but seems laptop issue, even though you got pretty good laptop.

Yes i am also confused because other games run well... but as we know Don Bradman is a very latest game so may be its my laptop problem..

Well finally after reinstalling the graphics card.. the flickering is gone.. :-)

I reinstalled the graphics card.. and now its working fine.. Thank god
