Update 1.12 is now live!

We have just released a new update for Don Bradman Cricket 14. This is our most substantial Steam update to date. The fixes, tunes and additions are below.

FIXES
- Various crash bug fixes.
- Fix for C&B being shown in Wicket HUD when not caught by bowler.
- Fix for an instance of "Umpire's Call" giving wrong decision.
- Fix for fielders sometimes walking to the ball when fielding.

TUNING
- Tuning of physics relating to trajectory off bat with good timing.
- Tuning desire to run of striking batsman if player is non-striker in Career.
- Tuning of bowler speed differential.
- Tuning of edge chance on defensive shots.
- Tuning of ground friction in field.

ADDITIONS
- Career difficulty will only go up for appearances at International Level.
- Added Toggle for Transparent Batsman to D-Pad DOWN.
- Added Toggle for Transparent Wicket Keeper to D-Pad UP.
- Added credits for Planet Cricket & Somesh Bahuguna.

Thanks guys for the fixes, You are supporting this game so well. Great to see. Would love to see an option to keep career difficulty the same throughout though. Call me lazy but sometimes I just want to swing for the fences :-p

Excellent! But where's the fix to stop me always pressing the suicidal run button by mistake????!!

I've just gone in and bowled my first over since the upgrade and it's obvious something's changed. Three balls had something I've not seen before even after weeks of continuous play. First ball got a slight nick--it rolled along the ground past the keeper who had to chase it halfway to the boundary to get it! He'll get the sack for missing it in the first place! 4th ball the batsman did a really smooth fluid shot and was caught at long off--never had that before. 5th ball the new batsman did a really fluid shot...and belted me behind square for 6!
Mind you, they haven't fixed the AI spinner...I was out 4th ball for a duck. Then again, I did last 4 balls...

Just had the nick to the keeper again. This time it was in the air but again he made no attempt to catch it and he had to go chasing after it towards the sightscreen. Is this a new bug or a statement of how bad my keeper is?!

I think I'm addicted to this, like I was with Shane Warne Cricket 99.

I use to play cricket for about 4 years, back in the day. Kind of missing it now.

Yes, it will go back to your original difficulty for non-international matches.
