[SOLVED] Controller not working after 5 min of gameplay. Any solution?

I used to save and exit game frequently. After couple of days, now i do not know how but when i start playing then after around 5 minutes my controller stops working. That never happened before. What should i do? Anyone facing this type of problem?

I also have this problem after around 5 minutes of gameplay. Both keyboard and wireless xbox controller stop responding completely. Real shame as it is a fantastic game. Please fix this soon big ant.

I have started facing the same problem just now. The xbox 360 wireless controller and even the keyboard stops working within 3-5 mins of gameplay. The problem is only within this game as the controller otherwise is working fine. Have to Alt-Tab my way out of the game. But the same thing is happening again and again. I am not able to play my game.

This holds true if you do nothing & just sit in the menu. Won't matter. Everything stops responding. Someone, somewhere forgot a semi-colon or didn't close a sub routine ;)

Same problem just now. As AJ says, it's odd that this has happened without any update that might have caused it. I'm not surprised if people 'owning' Spacewar are getting this but odd that it's hitting legitimate purchasers.

As Rob says, it's very early in the morning for the devs. They are very good at responding but do sleep occasionally. We'll just have to sit tight until they pick this up.

Also have experienced this. Just starting a Pro40 game in career mode then suddenly no controller response. I'm using a Xbox One controller, I know it works fine as I was using it with Euro Truck Simulator minutes beforehand.

The same thing started happening to me today! Controller stops working after about five minutes or so. Uninstalled the game and tried a fresh reinstall but still the same problem... Tried my controller on other games and no problems at all. So why has this started to happen today???

Ok temporary fix, put steam in offline mode , and switch off internet or block dbc in firewall, you will be able to play and modswill work,. soseems a CA issue, probably they are updating or something.

This is happening to me too! I've purchased the game last night and I've been having massive issues today. Trojan notification while installing, controller functioning but not connecting. This is where keyboard support is helpful, developers! Even if it'd be hard, make a dumbed-down version for keyboards and boost your dang sales!

Nothing to do with keyboard support. Stick with it, Newhampshires, you're unlucky to have purchased the game just at this moment but once it's sorted out you'll see that keyboard is irrelevant. The Trojan notification seems to be a problem with Norton, as far as I know. This particular bug appears to be affecting keyboards as well as controllers e.g. ESC key doesn't work either.

Temporary SOLUTION: Play it in offline mode as well as disconnet internet, works for me.
