Where are the guns?

I'm playing as the firearms specialist, and I'm 20% into the game and have come across two guns: a nailgun and a single handgun.

There are more guns, right?

Yes yes, dont worry dude, if you first reach Henderson, you will have so much fire Arms, that you dont know what you should do with all this pistols, snipers, assoult rifels :D just play a little longer and you will get tons of fire arms.

In Palanai, there is a dealer, you have to get fuel for him first, he sells a revolver / In a box in santa maria you can find a pistole (there where you have to enter in the tunnel, at the end of this tunnel, you also find pistoles, shotguns and rifles) .Your own dealer TREVOR gets sometimes a short shotgun, if you do his team quest things and level him up to 3 / Before you reach the ferry station, there is a sniper up on a car, which is placed up on a advertisement poster, there is a ladder at the back.

You can always mod the game also so you can get guns from the start. If you like gunplay, being forced to use melee the first half of the game sucks if you really want to use guns. This mod here opens up guns at the start, All the guns you got on the ship ion the beginning stay with you and arent taken away. Guns also drop from jungle chests and all the merchants sell some. 1thing that sucks with dead island and riptide is that even when u chose gun hero u won't get guns early on, u play same with awry1 mostly melee, not even bow or crossbow what would be cool range weapon alternatives for guns for early on, but still good game
