leveling up is too quick
they need to reduce the amounts of XP u get for handing in continous quest items... Im only 56% into the main game and I'm already level 64. I feel I'm gonna be level 70 a long time before ive finished the game on playthrough 1. This is dissapointing as leveling up is probably 1 of the most addictive elements of this game. It makes the idea of a second playthrough totally irrelevant. :(

Yeah I'm 70 for ages now kinda makes the second playthrough a bit dull

:(

It would help if the stupid devs didn't decide to make zombies respawn the second you took 5 steps away from one spot. Turn-ins wouldn't be a problem if you weren't killing 20 times as many zombies.

They should just raise the level cap to 200!
Did you preorder it and get the XP booster? Just delete the DLC if you did.

I find it quite alright. This means I am able to reach 70 on multiple characters without spending half my life on it.

The weapon skills on the other hand... Those level up waaaaay too fast.

Why....did you want to be like in Lego Universe...

That makes no sense whatsoever.

It probably does make sense, but only if you actually know anything about Lego Universe.

BAM! A valid solution to almost all the problems this sordid game suffers... Only thing is you would have to play thru 3 times+ the buggy gameplay on the same boring, poorly thought out maps. Doesn't that sound like at least 3 times the fun to you?

I just said why I like it the way it is, so it doesn't make sense to ask me why. But no, clearly I don't know anything about Lego Universe :)

I think a lot of us are importing characters and using the XP boost, and that makes it far easier to reach 70 quickly. The pace is probably best without those two.

Still, when I imported a level 39 Purna, I was 62 by the end of the first playthrough. I don't think that's so incredibly quick leveling that it's gamebreaking.

Maybe if the Dev comes up with a full expansion pack will open up the level cap in order to increase our character skills.

i think lvl100 cap would suit the game.. make the last 20 levels really long (xp wise) that way we could max out the skill tree during playthrough 2.

... just food for thought...

You do level up pretty fast in my opinion but it slowed down really fast for me at level 50

I started a new character to play through coop, and we have both gone from L14 to L70 in our first playthrough (only 85% so far). Levelling up in incredibly fast compared to the original.

Being able to turn in repeatable quests that only require 1 item makes it much easier (DI usually required multiple common items for one turn in), while the XP rewards for completing the quests are also massively higher, certainly for a first playthrough.

L60 is still somewhere around 8m XP, and L70 is just under 25m, but it's taken me less than half the time to reach 70 in Riptide than it did to reach 58 in DI.
