Where can I get the Harpoon Gun?

We never got the Harpoon Gun off Harlow as quest reward, is there any other way we can buy or find it?

No, the exotic weapon vendor that you unlock by doing the "fire" quest sometimes sell one with ammunitions too.

Harlow gave me a harpoon gun.

You must've missed the reward pickup before she scampered off.

He just says ne "never got it", not that she didn't give it. And given the way that you don't have to stop-by Halai at the time when the harpoon gun is on her, I can see how he would have missed it. Frankly the only reason I got it is because I wanted to hit the shops and there she was with a trophy icon and I was like "Oh yeah, the harpoon gun, I forgot about that thing".

Harpoon sucks anyway....I shoot 4 time at Suicider...feel weak. I throw harpoon away

I guess I haven't really used it much since I got it, but it's one-shot everything I shot with it when I did use it. Then again, I do play Purna, so that probably helps.

What? Did you upgrade it? Is it low level or something? My gun skill level is 2 at the moment, no gun boosts at all, and I kill them in one hit.

I love the harpoon and nail guns. Good for practicing gun skills without wasting ammo (early in the game when you can't craft it and there isn't ammo everywhere like in Henderson), and they're fun too.

in order to get the Harpoon gun from Harlow during your main quest, you have to return to her in the Halai village immediately after you exit the science lab, otherwise that reward may not be there when she gives you further quests.
Pierre's Magasin near Paradise camp has Harpoon guns for sale, visit him often. I got 2 purple Harpoon guns from him.
very fun to use at certain locations, including Pierre's Magasin, Halai village main door. Makata village house right beside the fast travel spot.
very useful to pin down zeds and level up your firearm skill without wasting any ammo

seems nailgun is a better option, two shots maximum per a suicider

It also reloads a lot quicker. But both are still something you use mainly for fun. Pride modded guns are way better.

I use the harpoon and nail guns in the beginning when I can't get a good supply of regular ammo. I known zombies down and headshot them. Very efficient way to kill and level firearms.
