Import save from Dead Island 1 on 360?

So here is my story.
I have a lvl 57 Purna... on 360 and a few other fairly high level characters. Since then I have upgraded my PC and purchased Dead Island for it and pre ordered Riptide. Is there a way for me to load up someone elses Save file or convert my 360 save file in order to retain my character progression?

Sadly no, save files between platforms are not compatible.

But not difficult at all to create your own. Start a game and get to the first check point. Then use the dead island save editor to set your level and stats. This is the most usefull tool for the game out there and it works on XBOX DI saves too :-)

I really do not want to start over my character on PC or not have my character to import to riptide.

yo, seriously, thank you. I did not want to have to start over and this was a quick and painless way to recreate my save from the 360.
