L4D fked us the exact same way when they releashed l4d 2. This game is the same as the first. not worth that much.
unless of course you happened to enjoy the first game, like i did. I think its a great buy, they say the amount of content is comparable to the first game, if not more. Its Dead Island 2, without being 2, much like how Resident Evil games have un-numbered games but they seem to be chronological
An expansion would require the first game, it works stand alone. So it's not an expansion.
If it's DLC it wouldn't be stand alone and it certainly wouldn't be larger then the entire first game in terms of content. So it's not DLC.
So basically if you are trying to define it as DLC or an expansion you are simply trying to belittle the game because you dislike it for whatever reason.
It's not a sequal.
No, expansions can be standalone, there are hundreds of standalone expansions in the history of vidya.
Also, stop being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥, nobody said I dislike the game, jesus, you fanboys are so stupid it's embarassing.
Sm4sh3D wins thread. Just take it at face value, its more Dead Island content.
From what I've heard there will be an additional character at the very least. Probably more weapon mods, and hopefully firearms are more balanced and spread out.
That's not true. Just look at Half-Life: Blue Shift. That's an excellent example of an expansion that's not requiring the original game to work. So basically an expansion can be made without the original game being required.
