Why isn' the sun social link guy showing up on sunday?

i advanced that girls social link far enough for her to tell me about the guy hanging out on sundays. but hes never there. i'm on 8/8 now when it said you should be able to get his pen or whatever, but he never showed up in the first place to ask for it

You need to wait until 9/6.

He shows up on Sundays only. In the game 8/8 lies on a Saturday. Progress one more day to hit Sunday, go to the bench he would be at, go back to the dorm to retrieve the red pen, and then go back to start the social link

You need to wait until 9/6.

This is not correct. You need to talk to the the man on the bench on August 9th, go back to the dorms to get the pen from koromaru, and then you can go back to Akinari to begin.

I didn't see him until then even tho I had 4 academics. He just wasn't on that bench on sundays.

ok, so he was there on 8/9, though annoyingly it overlapped with a junpei hang out request. but i ultimately went with the new social link since the junpei thing only gave some charm
