Is this normal in Japan...?

I'm not too familiar with Japanese culture, so maybe this is super normal and I'm just overthinking it...

But, going through some of the Social Links, they have made a few references now to teachers dating their students. IMO, that's pretty cringy and gross. If that happened in the West, that teacher's career and reputation would be flushed down the drain. But it's spoken about so casually. Is it just normal in Japan for teachers to date students?

I would question it and then probably dismiss it. It would be very questionable fiction and the author should probably be looked into (the readers too). At the end of the day tho, it is fiction. It isn't exactly harming people.

Yeah, and I knew a few teachers I would not have minded getting extracurricular activity with, but I was a child and they were adults, as a teen I didn't find that but maybe one time, and that teacher was married (rightfully so), so I wouldn't have tried anyway.

I don't think it's normal in Japan or in a lot of countries. Even that happens I myself won't judge them as long as there are no malice intents behind that.

Teachers screwing students, and CP are actually real and can happen. Thats why I would be much more worried about someone actually taking the time to put that down on paper, to someone writing about killing monsters.

You could find stories in Japan all the time where the Female heroine is either has a huge age gap lower or higher in correlation to the MC at this point teacher dynamic is a genre of that.

First off, I was talking about you playing Skryim. The tutorial is literally you killing other humans with swords, axes, or magic. Are you saying that someone in real life can't just take a real weapon like a knife or some way to light someone on fire to start imitating that?

Second, we are talking about FICTION. Obviously real CP is a no no and should be reported immediately. I thought you were talking about Japan's weird obsession with loli and shota content. Seriously tho, you're acting like one has a higher chance than the other. If that was true, then Japan would be filled with them.
