Cannot obtain Emperor social link due to a bug that occurs after joining the student council

I was unable to obtain emperor social link when I entered the student council room. (the scene did not introduce me to the student council members but instead, it showed "I helped out with a couple student council projects")

How do I fix this issue?

That's... really weird. Have you tried rewinding from the system menu to before that day and just going at it again? I have no idea what could have caused that.
I didn't even know there was a scene for doing student council stuff without it being tied to the social link. Did it try to give you points to a social link you didn't even have yet?

That's is very weird I just finished the Emperor's Social Link. I would try rewind feature or try loading a previous saved game before you joined the Student Council.

I've tried rewinding the game multiple times and it didn't make a difference. 🫠

I've also tried:
- reloading the save
- restarting the game
- restarting my PC
- giving mitsuru a different answer when she tried to recruit the main character
- starting a new game

I really don't want to do it all over again for the third time. Grinding to level 12 and reaching 22nd floor (in 1 game day) was mind numbingly boring.
