Which games to play after P3R?
Hey back again lol. Yeah finished P3R this morning and wondering should I play P4G or P5R first? Ik each story has it's own story, cast, plot ect.. I'm just mainly concerned if I played 5 first for example it'll spoil some things from 4 or I'll miss out on lore if I don't go in order?

No, go play something else unless you can go back to Japan's Persona 2 Innocent Sin's uncut release, or the original uncut Japanese Persona and work your way up.

Persona 3, 4 and 5 only contain very few references to each other. You might hear a mention of a character or two from Persona 3/4 if you go and play 5 first, but ultimately it won't really matter.

If I were you, I'd go with Persona 4 Golden next. It might take some getting used to, but it probably won't be as good if you play 3 and 5 before it, considering they have updated quality of life features compared to it.

There is no spoil if you play 5 before 4. Only some easter eggs here and there. But I still recommend you play 4 before 5. Mostly because if you get too comfortable with the combat gameplay in 3 and 5 you will find 4 is kinda slow.

As far as main games go its always isolated stories with just minor references to each other but that's about it. Start with P4G then go P5R. If you're high about these games the spinoff like Persona Q 1 and 2 which merge their casts also exist. P4 Arena 1 and 2 is direct sequels to P3 and P4

i recommend playing 4 before 5, especially since its a murder mystery, greater chance of you getting spoiled if u wait longer to play it. (Also never google anything about this game)

p4g is also not as pricey as p5r so it has that going for it aswell

I bought Like a Dragon infinite Wealth after this one, will surely return to P3R once I'm done.

There are only minor references to past titles, mostly cameos in 3 and 4. You can play them in any order you want, unless you're playing P2 which is a duology with a chronological order.

I agree with this. P4 Remake is years away and most likely going to be at least $70. P4G is a slightly upgraded combat system from P3FES. So it might take some time to get use to.

I played P4 Golden in the lead up to this game’s release and i can tell you aside from visuals the drop off wouldn’t be a huge deal breaker to you. It plays very much like 3Reload and 5.
Just visually a downgrade. Music is still baller and gameplay is still fun.

But 5 would be the most seamless transition from playing 3Reload.

Persona 5 Royal.

A lot of the QoL changes for Persona 3 Reload come from that game.

Why no new game plus?

Also play 4 golden if don't have any cash and can staand PS2 graphics otherwise P5 Royal

Terrible advice. Do not play 4 before remake. I know it's hard but just don't, imagine how rewarding it will be to play 4 for the first time with next gen look
