Yuko S link not advancing!

I've hung out with her atleast 2 times and her! The prompt still says the bond wont get any stronger! Currently the s link is at rank 8. Do i keep pressing on or is it resumed by doing something else?

The previous hangout didn't get enough points to advance to rank 9. I think getting to rank 8 specifically, the choices don't give you enough regardless of if you pick the most optimal choices for all the romancable characters.

You can either spend an extra day to hangout with her, then hang out with her agai,. Or you can wait for a free day where you aren't able to do anything and save scum a shrine boost to the relationship, find the next koromaru walk where you run into Yuko or wait for a text hangout invitation. All of which give you extra S Link points.

Because she's a good romance choice :D

By the way is just some characters ask more points to level up, it can be in all persona games. There's always someone who ask too much points. But if you know the mechanics of social link multipliers, you can max everyone up on the first try, or, as a last resort, as already said, max through other methods like a shrine or a dating site.

At some point in the early game she should invite you out on Sunday.

Giving a favorable response or a good gift should give you enough points to advance.

Just know ranks 4 and 8 both need quite a bit
