Romance with Yuko not working

I've just had lv 9 link conversation with her, it had all questions about her becoming an instructor, but there was no final choice between friendship and dating.

There are romance and friendship lock flags during some rank up scenes with romance-able characters. For Yuko, I believe it is during the 6 -> 7 scene where you have to say "wanna make that true" in response to the kids' misunderstanding that you're Yuko's boyfriend. The other choice would lock you out.

Some of the s-links do require specific answers to earlier conversations; with Yuko for example you have a much earlier conversation where the kids keep referring to you as her boyfriend; you may have to give the positive response (I'm honored) rather than the neutral (I don't mind) to unlock the romance option.

I have replied "This is awkward" for that one and still got the option at 9th level of the SLink.
