As for killing Reaper - apparently beating him on lower difficulties is much easier since you can dish out the damage and tank his attacks. On higher difficulties, especially Merciless, he is quite tough and may often lead to insta-kills if you don't have plenty of homunculus stashed. Additionally he loves to use confuse which almost often will apply to your team mates ( even if you are level 99 ) so be sure to not get 4 man confused as this will lead to massive damage and often cash loss because Money Distribution tends to proc way too often.
I got him down at level 80+ ( without Armageddon of course and on Merciless ) by having a support persona that can keep him debilliated, full heal / full revival and fast ailment recovery with the rest of the party doing physical damage plus using megidolla gems in turns where Reaper was buffed. It's tedious work for the first kill but so long as you don't get team wiped after virus wave and megidolaon combo and don't get 4 man confused, there isn't much he can do to you, other than proc insta-kill if you don't have resistance on main character or some homunculus in the inventory. From that point, you just keep hitting until it falls. Make sure you have a Fools Major Arcana collected and select Bonus XP during shuffle for a massive XP boost for everyone.
Before you go to tartarus, go to club and get theurgy rate buff from fortune teller. Go to store and buy party removal for Charm/Confuse/etc. Buy some full revivals.
As been said above, Ken is very important with his 2nd theurgy. Plus to Ken that his theurgy gain increase when he has <50% SP, so you should equip him with some SP regen things and come with sp less than half. If you can you should equip him with Null dark or Null Dark instakill. If possible get him resist elements or insta-heal. Ken is probably the fastest char so he will be healing/removing aliments. His theurgy could give you full round of damage.
When encountering Reaper I don't recommend to ambush because you'll probably will see 4-5 attacks on it's turn.
If possible try to cover your weaknesses, even with anti-<element> master. This will give you some time for damage.
Try to get person without weaknesses for yourself. I recommend start with auto rebellion if possible. Brave/Heavenly blade have a high crit rate, so that would be your best bet.
If possible use debiliate, bloody charge (charge + rerellion)
So Ken would be healer/support. Don't forget his "karn" skills reflect phys and magic. Even if it's tentarafoo. So you could use it to save you other char from aliment
So with Ken as a healer and your char with max critical try to beat him. Don't hesitate to guard if you need.
I would recommend taking Yukari (goes last) for healing/guading and Junpei for crit attack.
Magic is not very helpful, so your best bet will be try to critical hit him with you and Junpei. While Ken will use theurgy for support/heal/revive and heal party elements. Yukari will guard to break enemy's "one more" and heal/revive if needed.
lol i love this theurgy the most, i tho at first it's gonna be hard and having cold feet
but heck, with armageddon, that reaper is rlly becoming my b*tch for leveling XDDDD
