The female mc was always niche and only chosen by a small minority of people much like fem shep in the Mass Effect series. Despite journos claiming otherwise there's no point in the devs wasting money writing and designing a female character next to no one will play.

There is nothing wrong with Saber's design and that is what were talking about, not her character. As for Rin, welp, guess sexual intercourse is bad now, and also, we were talking about design.

If you want more examples, take a look at Anastasia (caster), Okita Souji (saber), Ryougi Shiki (Saber), Beni-Enma (saber), Lakshmi Bai (saber), Oda Nobunaga (archer), Asagami Fujino (archer), Habetrot (rider), just to name a few.

Yeah, not to mention that fate go has multiple artists, each with their own styles and what they want to draw. So Queen Nothing saying that type moon is sexist is basically saying every artist that works on fate go is sexist.

Fate go has some very well done female designs, there are over 350 servants, so of course there are going to be some not great or tasteful designs, but by just taking a cursory look over the female servants, you can see some really good designs.

The person is also not paying attention to any of the story or character lores throughout the Fate series let alone Fate Grand Order. Man I sometimes wonder where these writers come up with these good stories. XD The game is 8 years old and still interesting to this day.

Never heard of this 'Fate' series before, but I looked up some of the designs of the characters that were mentioned here on the TYPE-MOON Wiki and it looks kind of interesting.

Those Fate/EXTELLA games on Steam definitely looked like something I would be interested in judging from the DLC and screenshots tab in the community hub. I like those hack'n'slash games that you can just have a good time with the story and gameplay, while also enjoying some anime girls in swimsuits and other cute / sexy costumes.

Depending on the prices, I'll probably grab one or both games and their DLC's in the upcoming Steam Autumn sale.

Fate/Extella and Fate/Extella Link are alright, though Link is kind of a filler plot. The worst habits in Fate are missing or generally dialed-down in those games. Can't really speak to old-school Fate/Extra (between Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and P3P, I was kinda over the PSP in general), but I'll be trying the remake coming soon, especially since it looks like it'll include the content from Fate/Extra CCC.

I saw the Fate/Samurai Remnant game, but it's probably out of my price range for now at least.

I actually found the VN on the first place I looked, or at least I think I did. It's called 'Fate/Stay Night', correct? It being an "eroge" helped me find it, but VNDB has this thing listed at like 90 hours long... and there appears to be a fandisc called 'Fate/Hollow Ataraxia' also. Not sure I can sink that kind of time into a visual novel, but, I already downloaded it so I'll try and read a bit over the next few nights and see if it sticks.

I've never really tried mobile games so that's probably out for me, especially since I'm still living that iPhone 6 Plus life. I checked for fun just to see if I could even run it, and it said iPhone 5 or better so I guess I could, but can only imagine how fast that would drain my old battery.

Are the EXTELLA games decently good? Or something that someone can just pick up and play without the need of playing or reading other material? Is one noticeable better than the other? I'm assuming these will be on sale during the Steam Autumn event.
