Around 20-30 hours, I guess? But if you want a game with the focus on combat, it's better to choose something else. Persona series is a story driven games. If you like combat but don't care about story, try SMT (Shin Megami Tensei) games. Steam has SMT3 and soon there will be SMT5

There're plenty of changes from the original. New scenes, new English cast, almost everything is voiced now. I played P3Fes year before the Reload release and the story didn't bore me. But then again, I rewatch my favorite movies once a year and reread my favorite books once in 2 or 3 years. I live by philosophy that if in 2 years you don't want to rewatch a movie - it was a bad movie

New Game+ speedrun for all max confidants took me about 11 hours. I mainly just swapped between Helel, Futsunushi, Satanael, and Mother Harlot (she was my auto team buff persona) and spammed their strongest attacks as needed.
