Bringing back MC would go against everything P3 was about. Even more than the ability to bring back Chidori.
That death is permanent and unavoidable. Thats the point, you use the time you have. You dont magically get it back.
Also, they could totally have included the whole Elizabeth embarking on a journey to save MC's soul thing from P4 Arena. Explain how that doesn't invalidate P3.
P3 has been loosing sight of its themes long before a potential “MC revival”.
