Episode Aigis is a bit of a slog
I love persona games, absolutely love them. Started off loving Aigis... but man, I'm at an end now.

On the 5th door, Ptolomey or some such and it's just Monad fights every second floor, which go on for ages and then you eventually hit a boss after a ridiculous number of levels (25 on the last one).

There's not point going to the cop shop as monad gets you everything, so shopping is gone, there is very little team interaction, you are always better off one-shotting each area and there is no incentive to change party that I have found so there it would now be detrimental to change and you get your SP refilled automatically by oracle every so often so you don't even need to manage that. Elizabeth I don't even see the point of any more without the fun interaction scenes.

I don't think I would mind if each area was maximum of 12 floors, but now I'm just running to get it over with. Money discussion aside, this is just really dull.

I liked it because I got to play with a bunch of Personas from the main game that I fused, dismissed then never summoned again. But your criticisms are completely valid. If you think the Monad Doors take long, the last few fights will drive you crazy! tip: have Aigis be the support instead of the attack
I did like it, but doing another, what, 75 floors? Yeesh. Call it 12 per domain and were cooking, that would be 75 floors for the whole dlc, which is fine.

For as much as it wasn't fun, I at least remember how p4g really mixed up the combat in the last part. Here I get a lot of enemies with no weaknesses who occasionally one shot me, which is annoying.
I got insanely bored and just couldn't be bothered to finish it. Took a breather after the Mitsuru flashback and haven't yet gotten around to going back to finishing it up. I intend to do so sooner or later, but man do I not feel motivated to do so.

It is more than a "bit" of a slog in my humble opinion.

It's honestly boring as hell IMO.
The number of bosses weak to nothing is increasing and the last one healed per round passively!

No longer getting gear from monad, and I've noticed as I'm skipping combat I'm not getting as much oracle love to fill the sp.

Luckily, I can just go up a a staircase.

I think I'm nearly up to mitsuru flashback, can't be many left. I think you could probably put it on passive and run to the end. It's annoying that I couldn't take misturu at the start as now my A team are some 30+ levels up.

You can still use the Great Clock that sometimes appears when you use Twilight Fragments for free levels. Also the Monad Door equipments have randomized effects, some give you items that give +50% EXP. She will catch up in levels easily if you use that stuff.
Played it on FES back in the day. Was 100% slog. No desire to do it again. Will just watch story bits on youtube and save the massive grind.

Good lord. Another boss with zero weaknesses and resist all physical. Monad doors taking over 10 minutes now...

I think the game acknowledges that it's boring as I have an ability now that allows me to run through collectables so I can sprint through levels without stopping.

Just got mitsuru flashback so two more doors (50 levels...) to go.

Exactly my thoughs. I know it's a bit of a console trauma and there should be noticeable differences now, but I'm not spending my money on a DLC that already bored me to tears before. Besides, I'm saving money to buy Xenoblade Chronicles X when released for Switch.

It still sucks as its original release in ps2
the answer is not worth the asking price. it should've been part of reload like it originally was with FES

Loving the constant churn of poison and fear, charm and confuse attacks I'm now facing
Not only is everything immune, they ar le now spamming one shot kills. Just had a whole team wipe, one shot on the third monad wave. Eugh.

Time to ignore monad and speedrun. Final doors.

Omg. I feel like I missed a memo. In what I hope is the end part, now on pacifist to try and end this teriun and my partner is still being one shot. Not only that but they have no weaknesses (why?), are immune to ailments, have high agility and reflect my attacks as well as use the occasional super attack.

This dlc is crap.

yah those fights are not easy lol. i beat them by using Aigis as the support. She would keep one enemy debuffed (the enemy that we were focusing attacks on), remove status effects and heal. she would buff if possible (it usually wasn't). Metis focused on attacks and removing any status effects on aigis, or healing aigis if she missed her turn due to a status effect. the fights were VERY long. the only theurgy i ever used with aigis was the very first one that heals you for 50% and gives evasion buff.
this was done on Hard difficulty with no defeats.

yep I think that extra thing was just a battle simulator back then, it felt like that. What is the deluxe and what was the other special edition again? I can't clickon it and look.
maybe I see further down below something but so far not sure what I'm buying there.
