Most of the time when you have free time you just go to sleep instead of doing something fun. I hate P3 because of this - no content. Even P4G that released in 2012(2020 steam) has more features than P3r that released in 2024. Is this what are they call a remake? Total BS.
It's just that certain people can't cope with it not being enough in their view and have to resort to over exaggeration to make them feel like they have a valid point.
It's for sure a bit in-between 4 and 5 mechanics wise but it's definitely not as bad as our resident grinch up there constantly makes it out to be, and all the games are very good for what they do and how they do it.
And this remake does what it set out to do with quite some additions that Mistie conveniently seems to forget exist when badmouthing the game.
Whether it's for you, I wouldn't dare to presume, different opinions and all.
This is ridiculous. Why on earth would you just go to sleep when there is loads to do? There's loads of content, maybe you haven't realised you can leave your dorm.
It's added new features from P3 regular but is still the same base game. This whole thread is predicated on you only playing one game anyway and I have so far played P4G, P5R and am 3/4 through P3R.
Games are all fairly similar, but I've enjoyed all of them so far.
Well i'm ready to listen and learn, i'm waiting.
Let's say this is your first playthrough. How you can spend time in Persona series 3-5 besides links and battles.
P3R activities to spend time:
1. You can work at job. There are different jobs, but it's still the same, you just max different social stats and get money.
2. Spending time like Karaoke, movies and restaurants, but this is also to pump up social stats.
3. Use computer to get something useful like again social stats, improve dash, or improve hp and sp.
And... That's all?
P4G activities to spend time:
1. Read books to pump social stats. There are so many books in the game that you will only have time to read them all by the end of the game.
2. Cooking to get points someone's link of choice.
3. Working at home, or working at different places to get money and social stats.
4. Fishing.
5. Ride a scooter.
6. Go to beach.
7. Chagall Café to get useful skill card of your choice.
8. Meet one of the links at night to get link points.
P5R activities to spend time:
1. Train in home or in gym club - get hp and sp boost.
2. Watch DVD - social stats increase.
3. Play video games - social stats increase.
4. Create tools + social stats increase.
5. Cooking.
6. Making a coffee.
7. Working at home, or working at different places to get money and social stats.
8. Fishing.
9. Read books - social stats increase.
10. Juzz club - to get skills to your allies.
11. Billiard to increase damage.
12. Darts to inrease bonus of batton pass.
13. Crossword puzzles.
14. Play baseball.
15. Laundry.
How can you say that EVERYTHING IS OK with P3r with the game after such a comparison? Stop it guys you deserve better, every player deserve better content no worse than P4 and P5.
You literally name the same things but phrase it with a negative tone if it's p3.
You conveniently leave out dorm activities that you def wont all have done by the middle of the game. You can also get "useful skill cards" in p3 in paulownia mall. Nobody cares about riding no damn scooter, and fishing doesn't amount to much either. Reading books is also just essentially the same as using the computer (boosting stats)
And stop being so pretentious about "lack of content". It's a 70+ hour game like are we deadass? Not to mention it's literally a remake, there is no obligation for them to create a dozen new areas; that was never the point. They already added plenty of new stuff but even so, they obviously had limitations and couldn't just fundamentally alter the game.
Idk why it's so hard for you to comprehend that a remake of a 2008 game (the first in the series with that format even), was obviously not going to be on the same scale as the most recent one. The point was always to remain faithful to the original. What you demand is a damn near entirely new game, which was obviously beyond the scale of the project; especially with p6 taking most of their time and resources
What is wrong with you? You are clearly a bad faith actor. What can I do apart from...(lists game content)
You played 230 hours, so you clearly enjoyed it, now you are just being antagonistic.
