Persona 3 Reload
"ATLUS didn't scam you! You just can't read!"
It's definitely not because they changed the premium's description or anything! Surely not! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3328743589

it's a scam practice like what Adobe is doing, this is why the government is suing Adobe for deceptive policies, and some hidden agenda behind to squeeze more cash from their subscribers. it's all in this deceptive wordings to confuse the buyers.

Oh lmao comparing this to Adobe is being ultra hyperbolic. Adobe is literally stealing peoples art, refusing to let people cancel their subs, and if they are somehow successful in cancelling they nail them with a $200 cancellation fee.

You got screwed out of $30... Which while being terrible business, it is nowhere near the level of bad as Adobe.
More like 100 and tax since I wouldn't have bought that edition if I knew all didn't mean all but yeah comparing to Adobe is crazy.
As long as their phrase "all purchasable dlc" is vague, they remain scammers. They had no problem finishing "except for future DLCs".

Nobody ever uses "future" phrase. They're not scammers.

Once again, am I entitled for a free Borderlands 4 if I buy "EVERYTHING Borderlands" now? It has Steam page already BTW unlike Episode AEGIS back in february.

Actually use, publishers write that you'll get new content throughout the year for example.

Not only that. Just like there are publishers who warn you what won't be included in their edition, and where you can buy it. Could they have written that Aegis would not be in the edition? They could have. Your attempts to defend corporations are ridiculous.

What Aegis? There wasn't any AEGIS in February, she was announced only a month later.

Publishers use this phrase when they are selling you Season Passes, basically promises that they MAY release some DLC in the future, DLCs that they already planned and announced.
Atlus wasn't selling you any Passes, they sold you content available and announced back then.

I didn't see it in the mountain of crying spam, falsely accusing Atlus of "scamming".

Repeat again then or send link.

And it's so clear that even before the announcement they planned to release DLC, but didn't explain it to people. So they decided to change the description at the wrong time. They could have warned, but they didn't want to.

Most users read the description as is because they are used to like premium sounds cool, I think I'll have everything, but in reality it doesn't. Publishers need to learn how to handle information properly. Literally there are some games (google the facts) that have the title ultimate, and then it turns out that some one dlc is missing because it's new. What the f is the ultimate edition for?

But at least they don't change the edition description to suit themselves when a new dlc is released or announced. Okay, not scam but something similar :)

Its accurate even now, go look on the store page and see if you can buy the expansion... You can't outside the Expansion pass.

I have only basic (from friend), but as I understand you must pay full price or you just cant buy. No Aegis as single dlc :(

But those who know the trick don't care about greedy companies.

Never said it was right or ethical... just that there is a reason you can not buy it by itself and its probably to avoid getting sued for this scum rug pull.

It would be nice if the DLC was separate, maybe one day they'll do it. Have a nice game!
Regardless of whatever crowd is correct, and at this point I largely don't care, it seems abundantly ridiculous to constantly shill or defend corporate practices that are vehemently anti-consumer or at minimum, greedier than required to, I'd argue, most observers.

"Wow that uh deluxe edition text felt kinda misleading" "DLC seems overpriced" "Atlas are kinda greedy with all that double dipping and microtrans"

Vs

"YOU JUST CAN'T READ MORON" "UHM DON'T YOU KNOW COMPANIES NEED MONEY??" "WELL ACHSHULEE ATLAS IS UHM GREAT COMPANY U WEIRDO *SHLURP* I SPEND MY MONEY ON ATLAS DADDY"

Yeah, as undeniably facetious as some of the above is on my part, I still know which side of that aisle I'd rather be on. The side that has a better net outcome for my wallet, as well as what I view as better consumer friendly practices.
