Why would you go in tartarus solo?
I just got the game, having a blast. But the only big question I got so far is for what reasons would one want to go in the tower solo without your classmates' help?

Oh and why does the game to suggest to rush the floors and not search every inch of the floors?

I think people go in Tartarus solo most time in NG+ because you have all power and Personas to beat every shadow solo.

I'm only started this game too playing on hard and don't think i will go alone sometime. Maybe sometime only on NG+

Game suggest? Where it was? I check every cornet but still trying to end Tartarus until Tartarus not let me go further.

Yeah I forgot her name already lmaoo but the red hair tells you its a viable strategy to rush to stairs and it isn't the best idea(basically) to search every corner of the floor. But also says it leaves the player to its discretion. Im just curious why the game suggests to rush when you would be missing out on loot lol

Because spending too much time at the same floor is not good for you and your party members, if your party does not have powerful Personas.

You can go in Tartarus solo, but you are not alone.

if you're still on your first playthrough, it's tough going alone as you won't have enough personas to cover all enemies' weaknesses. But there is an advantage of going alone or with few party members though, your EXP from battles won't be spread much so you can level up faster for certain characters.

And for spending too long in one floor means the reaper can spawn and hunt you, it's the hardest enemy in the game. But from my experience, i rarely encountered it even when i took my time on a floor, so whoever said it to you is half wrong. So just take your time, and if a party member warns you about the reaper, just go straight to another floor to avoid it.

(also as you get later on in the game, spending too long on a floor and fighting every enemy isn't good either, it's best to get to the top first, after that you can grind for levels/grab loot from previous floors, and don't forget to save often when you encounter a teleporter back)

if you join discord persona community, there are two type of players, one like me who like enter tartarus as a team and one do solo everything and try to bypass and learn limitation of the game all alone. But usually this solo player do in NG+ since they already felt this game is too easy for them, so going solo hopefully make the game a little harder for them.

for second question, just do your things, i also like to see every inch of each tartarus floor, don't worry reaper won't show up that fast, also you need to kill reaper multiple times because he is the best money income in the game, so don't hate reaper, make him as your money income and you can grind much money out of him, his bloody button sell for 100k yean each, so yea i farm 90+ bloody button before i leave tartarus.

I don't know exactly how much they're floors i just heard it somewhere 200+ correct. But can't confirm there's more. And every player i think will wonder how much floors left. Because same floors over and over must be annoying.

Whatever.
1. solo exp. levels are important for fusing new personas
2. you want to refill sp either spirit drain/ invigorate weak enemies. you get your turn faster if solo, duh.
3. you like challenges

never heard of mitsuru telling you to rush a floor though. she might be referring if you should look for teleport in case you're dying but honestly it does not happen at all. if you think the grind is lame go ahead rush the floor.
Failuer Dec 6, 2024 @ 6:16pm
i didnt read all the responses, but she only says that if your sp is below half (could be wrong) or just overall sp conservation
