why do so many people romance mitsuru?

this is going off a near identical post i made a few weeks ago about yukari. why is she such a popular romance option? i was considering doing her romance path for a while bit i romanced the navigator instead. no redundant answers like because she is sexy please

because she is smart and some people prefer to be dominated by their girl, personally i prefer Chihiro, i want to romance her on NG+, on NG my plan was romance F u u k a but i failed to max her before Christmas so i ended up romance Mitsuru instead, because i wanna enjoy christmas with a girlfriend on my NG too

While any response is valid, the one that fits the bill with everyone i nthe game is one thing and one thing only.

They are dorks. You find out about that as soon as you get into midway of the SL or the story, Mitsuru is very high on that list, which is very enjoyable.

Mitsuru is a rarity of a character. Even today, her intense, but classy aesthetic is a masterclass in character design and a clinic in cutting against the grain (that P4A/U pretty much flushed down the toilet). Her characterization is also similarly irregular. P3's Greco-Roman influences manifest powerfully in her personality. She behaves like she really is some warrior-queen reincarnated from antiquity or myth. A combination of her virtues and mistakes gives her the feeling of a Homeric protagonist, someone powerful, brilliant, resourceful ... and quite foolish at times. Mitsuru is there for everyone who has ever tried to order Cabernet at a Buffalo Wild Wings.

This is one of the responses I specifically didn’t want people to give me. I never had an issue with her looks personality or anything relating to her I simply just enjoyed the navigators presence and loved them as a character. I don’t care if she is the hottest looking character.

Well, here's a bombshell for you: men like romancing hot female characters in video games (outside video games too for that matter). You may not like it, but it really is that simple Most of us will go for the one that matches our preferences, Mitsuru and Yukari are the ones who match best what most men find attractive so they are the most popular.

There's also the fact that they are both, by far, the most girly female characters in the game. I guess "womanly" is a more apt word to use with Mitsuru since she acts more like a mature lady than a high school girl, but you get what I am saying. Another bombshell: men like girly girls. Shocker, I know.

Okay, TECHNICALLY Aigis is the most popular, but she is obviously for very different reasons. It's not like most men prefer to date killer robots. She's popular because of being the most unique and how important she is to the game, especially the Answer.

Also on a more funny side: There is one weakness here. One thing that fellow gamers will find irresistable... A gamer girl! And I'm not joking, just look at how popular Futaba Sakura is from P5, she pretty much trounces everybody else. I don't think I need to explain why.

I like ayane and they’re one of my favorite characters, but it confused me when they had a romance ending. They look like they’re seven years old. Also who is futaba?
