the old couple is stuck at 9 forever for me, the elder also got lost in tartarus, I saved him. what does this even mean now? is it not going to be maxed? like man, the game punish u by having social links that made social link not progressable

it feels playing P3R after playing whatever else version of the game just feel like frustrating now

Have you hung out with them more than once when it said this? It's the same like any other version, they didn't change the social link in Reload or however long it takes to progress.

I'm gonna try again on days that got no one else except them. I would rather not to get stuck at others too.
I can't remember well but maybe u can't advance them at this point on the same months, it's the last day so will try later on the starting next months.
funny enough, almost all girls unlocked now and I haven't finish any of them so it's going to be hell with the girls, help!! I will see what I can do and hopefully be able to finish up everything.

don't thing they will grow stronger
it's always confusing. just got the same one for maiko and it's October, was thinking to finish her before she went missing as well, but it looks kinda impossible now?

If you haven't reach the SL max lvl then it means you just need to spend more time with them before you can reach next lvl. It's a bad translation.

Progress from Hierophant rank 9 to 10 will require extra time spend with them in order to advanced to the next rank even if you have a matching persona.

"I don't think my bond with [name] will grow stronger even if I spend more time with them" is just a wonky translation. It just means that spending time will them won't advance the social link, but will still give points; you'll notice the game comments that you feel your bond will grow stronger soon during the scene if you do.

the misstranslation and the two similar lines make it really confusing.
so basically, " not gonna grow just yet " means u will get point and will be able to advance on next encounter.
and " won't grow stronger even I spent time " means I will just get point, but it still not gonna be ready to advance even on the next time, so u will have to spent more much time with them.

hmm, for the second case, which is better then? spending time with them or going to the shrine?
