Game freezes when not in focus

I've been trying to farm reaper to get some persona strong enough to fight Elizabeth, is there any way to allow the game to run while its not in focus?

there is a simple drag and drop to install mod hat does that called p3rfix or something but that function are currently bugged

(when u fastforward dialogue and stop fastforwarding the visual effect of fastforwarding stuck on screen till that dialogue scene end)

after doing ur reaper farm, remember to edit the mod's ini file to turn that run in background function off

i also turn off the intro skip function because there are ppl reported it might cause game to freeze

Currently the only solution that doesn't involve tinkering with files is making P3 take over a portion of the screen while I watch YouTube on the other half. Then I just alt tab back to P3 so it "focuses" while YT is running.

Just install SpecialK, there are options that you can change that will allow for rendering in background, and then you just allow input in background. (May need to disable mouse and keyboard inputs, since it won't stop if you alt tab}
