Edit: I was meaning to respond to ValentB, not sure why I couldn't quote his response. I'll paste it below to prevent confusion.
>The game needs save anywhere. In dungeons and boss fight dungeons like Soul Hackers 2. They brought lots of QoL features from recent games so why not this too?
Saving everywhere is a big no though. So much of an intended games difficulty goes out the window. This is why these days I just ignore quick saving and loading (or disable it if I can).
huh, i have low end laptop with gtx 1650 and play this game with high settings, only crash once, wtf happened to you all who have superior laptop/pc than mine?
Have a friend that is crashing on several games but it all just took a fresh reset on his PC and it disappeared entirely. Seems like a soft/hardware issue honestly.
Not any difficulty, not even in merciless.
Dying to a boss ? just restart it instantly !
Plus the game makes you do choices every time,
some that you can regret,
so you really don't want an autosaver to keep your fails.
that's just my opinion
I think if you have more crashes than hours played, your pc should not be running it.
What kind of potato are you trying to run it on?! I've got a 1080 and i7 4790K and I can run the game on max settings with no issues. It's not the game man. Clean your pc (like physically clean the interior of your case). Defrag your drives. Run disk clean-up. Update your drivers. Update your windows. Restart your computer. Try to reinstall the game.
