What is triggering this alternate Rank 8 Strength Social link event?

Ok so I am using a fairly spoiler free guide to pick the correct answers and such so far every thing has been going ok, but suddenly I noticed some issues with Strength rank 8. Long story story guide says there are 3 questions prompts I am only getting two. And after triple checking and exhausting every option I only get the two.

Looked it up on Youtube and the one mentioned in the guide is totally different, taking place in the her bedroom, where as I am getting the event at the schools gate. I am going to try and upload a video and link here but I am wondering if anyone knows whats happening here, to my knowledge this is not something that should be happening, or if it can what the trigger is.

It seems you must have picked a dialogue choice that locked you into a platonic relationship. Social links will have some options that are a flag for dating them. The guides you used must assume you chose the romantic option.

My best bet is you chose the "They're just joking" in rank 6-7 which will lock you in a platonic relationship aka friendzone.

I see, fortunately I was planning to do this sl Platonicly but none of th guide mentioned this about the "they are only joking" option.

Some dialogue choices prior to that can lock you out of romance stuff. For example, Yukari can literally friendzone you in 8 if you don't hug her at the beach and say you wouldn't mind loolking like her boyfriend in 6. So, save it for another run.
