Animations where?

I dropped this thing after first boss fight and moved to Honkai because I wasnt able to stand such cheap animations (basically no animations at all at this point lol)
But in some videos I saw decent attack animation sequences for characters

Are they scripted and only during some special events?
Why during first 20 floors of tartar and boss fight I witnessed like... zero?

Everything is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay lvl down in comparison of Persona 5
And dont tell me ThIs Is An OlD gAmE
No its not, Remake means you Remake stuff
And you remake it good, cuz u take $70 for it, as for new game (not talking about upcomming dlc lol, which was also done previously)

So do you like Unlock normal looking gameplay or those animations were from cutscenes?

Playing gacha or playing downgraded (compared with previous release) $70 version of a game, that can't provide even basic gameplay features that previous game had

Capcom did that easily, btw, for the same price and 3 times in a row.

If this game would cost $30-40 - I'd have no questions
But it's $70, as a new AAA release.
So I expect same quality

But it's a reason to make fun of that, right? Because ftp gacha suddenly provided this quality (if you compare basic gameplay and animations)

While I don't agree with OP's opinion, Persona 3 reload has no problems with it's animations, gacha games generally have very good animation and polish. They have to in order to get people to try and gamble for it. Seriously, take a look at Honkai star rail animations, they put a lot of time and effort into them, because they need people to roll for them.

I don't know what you're talking about tbh. Persona 3 reload has pretty good animations from what I saw. The persona's are all animated well, as are specials. The only ones which are even slightly disappointing were the basic attacks, and even then that's fine. Sure they're not super flamboyant or stylish but they do just fine, and not many people are going to be using basic attacks very often. Why not provide examples of what exactly you think is lacking? Also you only got to the first boss? Well what did you expect? To see top of the line stuff and higher persona animations right out of the gate? You have to actually get far enough to unlock those things, like an rpg, with progression.

fair it should have all old versions had and free/included (still a improvemt in many ways) and 3 games in a row? and most gachas still arent better in gameplay and animations, you can only compare star rail and epic 7 off top of head and but have good yet over the top animations, which fun, but persona never had over the top animations, so why would they now.

star rail have good ones, it not even poor and 70$ game's shouldnt be poor, and p3r ones are fine, it is persona afterall, but reasons?, and you realize persona chars only have like 1 animation too, not really better.

I mean, it's not pay to win when it's pve, and everything can be cleared with low rarity characters, like in most pve gacha games. The pvp ones, that's where you tend to get the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pay to win games.

I payed full price for this piece of crap (and realised that it was a piece of crap not worth evn 10% of P5R only after 2h, so no refund)
And I payed 0 for honkai

I got modern animated characters there with decent graphics and, lol, more diverse gameplay with a lot of different mods
Compared to.. spending 10-15h in fights with 1 attack animation (and much worse graphics) then dialogs also without animations (that loose even to Persona 5)

And just of curiosity I've checked story recap.
Dam boi it is poor as well.

Had Atlus spent same amount of effort as they did on brand new Persona 5 or Capcom on Resident 4?

If price would be 30-40$ INCLUDING dlc - I would say nothing

But as long as you pay for this - we wont have nice things from greedy corps like Atlus, Ubi, EA etc.
