P3 Reload Rant: Takeharu Kirijo's voice acting is subpar (7/20)

Taking a small moment out of my playthrough to make this observation and give my opinion. This is so far the lowest point of the voice acting.

Takeharu Kirijo, Mitsuru's father,'s voice acting is terrible.

How did this pass? He is clearly supposed to be middle-aged or at least early 40s and he talks like a 21 years old putting on a gruff voice with a weird out of place accent?

Who IS the voice actor? I have my suspicions.

Perhaps I just fondly remember the voice acting in FES but this one, every line delivered sounds amateurish. ("Disclose everythang") The tone....

"We adults" Yeah right

Honestly, I just wish I could mute it or replace it entirely. Given how great 7/20 is, this was a major letdown.

It could only have been made worse had he turned to Akihiko at the end of the presentation, taken off his eyepatch and said "Sanada, I am your father hooo-purrr"

..... sigh..... The rest of the day was excellent.

I would appreciate if somewhere down the line, a mod were made to replace his voiced lines with the original, take them out entirely or voiced by someone else entirely.

It's Shinjiro's original voice actor who plays Mitsuru's father, and it's not that bad get a grip

Seriously, when people will stop complaining about VOs for this game? I feel like I've seen people complaining about every one's VO at some point, comparing them to old ones.

The only VO that isn't being complained about so far is Koromaru's one.

But those people are wrong. I like Koromaru's sounds come from an actual person rather than just using stock dog sounds because he sounds more life like. Plus it is pretty rare to find a VA who is an expert in doing animal sounds.

Nyx voice was always meant to be a distorted version of ryoji's voice, but the whole point is that you still recognize that it's him. He also speaks with a soft and harmless tone just like when he was first introduced, because he doesn't necessarily mean any harm, def not against SEES since they humanized him a lot more. The voice direction makes a lot more sense here
