It's tedious, It's just hours of 'exploring' the same ♥♥♥♥ you already did in the vanilla game fighting the same mobs.
The only content you'll paying for is cutscenes so I suggest you just watch it on YT when it comes out.
The original was very grindy due to being locked to hard mode, enemies getting 3x evasion to their weaknesses and no compendium (you had to catch the same persona again to try another fusion), also the EXP gain was pitiful. They are probably changing these things though.
The story doesn't say much you don't already know, it's more about Aigis's character development, plus a few flashbacks for other SEES members to show what they were up to before the events of the main game.
Thank you for the information. That doesn't sound like a very appealing sequel. It makes me appreciate P5S more.
And it having no social links is the ENTIRE POINT. The team is stuck in one single day, and you have to complete a massive dungeon to move on from it.
Its a metaphor. Now if the metaphor is "fun" is another question. Its much more difficult than the normal game, but that does make applying different strategies more fun.
The downside is that there was no compendium, which I doubt Reload will carry over. So the biggest actual issue is most likely solved.
Its fun if you're into the gameplay, and you finally get some more challenging enemy groups.
But since a lot of fans only play on Easy mode and for the social links and story, they don't get as much out of it.
Nah, more difficult still doesn't prevent it to be boring. It's the same the same and the same all the time. There is no change. If you don't get bored, you'll feel suffocated.
Edit: and all for a less than expected ending...
