Anyone else excited to spend more?
Can't wait to spend another $30 for a little DLC and battle pass. Thank you Altus for being so consumer friendly. Anyone else feel the same?

Why would you defend them at all? They told us P3R was the complete experience and not to worry about it when it launched, and now 1 month after releasing a $70 game with $30 worth of day one DLC they announce a $35 expansion pass.
We all make mistakes but now we know that they can be trusted. If you are still going to give your money to a company this greedy im sorry but you are just dumb. Im definitely waiting for Persona 6 ReScammed and a 50% discount
I already figured that they were going to release the Answer later as dlc. Not only that, I got it at a cheaper price from a different store without bothering with the dlc. Also, they weren't lying when they say its a complete experience. Most people consider P3 story alone without the Answer a complete experience and some would even go as far to say the Answer isn't worth having. This is most likely to give what some fans want with the Answer.

Who is defending? If you don't like it don't buy it, it's your own responsibility. Some people truly don't care, the Answer being post launch DLC was revealed pretty early, and some would rather have it as post-launch dlc in 6 months than the full price re-release that Atlus is known for. It's also funny to me how you say "now we know they can't be trusted," as if they haven't been doing day 1 dlc practices or the full price re-release for ages. A 25 euro expansion pass is far from the worse they couldve done, the answer offers enough to justify it to some

Nowadays, I already seen a lot of games release a DLC with almost price with base game. Or you already paid full price game and realize you must need to pay extra more for cut-content that should be in base game.
P3R seem be in first case and I'm fine with that, if you don't like it, don't pay them. Simple as that.

Yürei sure is. The fact that you expected it doesn't make it any better and even if i don't buy it other people that "truly don't care" will, thus ATLUS won't ever stop pulling this kind of crap. The "don't like don't buy" must be one of the most moronic things i've ever heard.

And it's not about them releasing DLC, it's about them blatantly lying about it. I don't care if they launch Persona 6 and after a year they go the Royal route, as long as they don't tell us that they won't do it only to turn back on their word. But i guess they won't change, because dumb people are always willing to give their money to dishonest companies as long as they enjoy the game.

Anyone know if the Premium Edition will include the Expansion Pass?

It's really not that big of a deal. You seem really mad about regular practices in the industry.

Point me to the interview where they said no post launch dlc was coming.

I mean let me ask you this then. When did they ever say that there would not be any additional dlc or the answer as dlc? You still got a complete experience with P3R alone. Its still based off the original 2006 version. Hell, the moment they chose to add content from P3FES and P3P, you should of saw the Answer coming as dlc.

When the chief director said we could rest assured knowing that Persona 3 Reload offers a complete experience, just weeks before releasing. I would't say missing the epilogue with the true ending is the complete experience

Most moronic thing you've ever heard, yet it's quite literally the reality of how any consumer market works. You don't have any power to command others or re-evaluate their opinion on a given product. There can very much be people that think p3re was worth 70$, regardless of any potential DLC or expansion later on, which in of itself could be worth the price too. If you think it's scummy or not, the only say you have is by simply not buying it, that is the reality.

I too would've obviously wanted it to be part of the base game, who wouldn't, but where exactly did they say they had no plans for a future DLC? At this point with any SEGA title I'm expecting an expansion pass if the game is expected to do well enough. And like the other person said, p3re is still what it said out to be, they didn't lie to you about what the game was offering, you bought into it knowing what you were gonna get. Sure DLC sucks and all, but at least it's not a full price re-release like they're accustomed to. It's a lesser evil, as they say

If you take P3's story by itself, it is a complete experience. That is why it was sold as is in 2006. Like I said before, some would argue that the Answer ruins P3's story even. You don't need the Answer to enjoy the game's story. Nothing was ever set in stone btw. Not even Fmc was shut down completely. They only said they had no plans to make Fmc route happen, not that it would never happen. So, there was no one saying that dlc would never happen or the answer would never happen.

P.S. You have to remember that every article you read is most likely a japanese to english translation of the Q&A the news site did.

Im just saying im done giving money to a company that does the same thing over and over again, not making threads in these forums telling people what to do or think, everyone is free to have their own opinion and to buy or not the DLC, its just sad that people will support them and tell me that i should've expected it, like it's my fault.

I guess i just need to get used to complete ATLUS games being worth $100, waiting 2 years for a Royal and then another for a price drop since it's just "regular practices in the industry". No real point in arguing anymore since we clearly disagree, but that's perfectly fine and i don't take it the wrong way. Cheers

I thought they were gonna re-release the game with extra dlc and going full price like they are doing right now with SMT V :satisfied:

I feel like a wet rag to Atlus, the way the company just keeps twisting and twisting money out of me and its fans. like i can understand charging 70$ for the game, and i understand they have to make money to make more games for us. but when all we get are remasters and spin offs i really start to wonder if persona 6 even was a thought to them.
persona 5 came out in 2017, its been nearly 7 years

this is a disappointment.

You need to learn the differences between remaster and remake
