Anyone else excited to spend more?
Can't wait to spend another $30 for a little DLC and battle pass. Thank you Altus for being so consumer friendly. Anyone else feel the same?

Are you new to Atlus? Atlus is expensive and they love to resell you dlc as a new game.

But, and this is why Atlus is so great, you get a game without gacha, without cash shop, without "time savers", and without all the other gacha "game" money draining stuff.

Right now Atlus is actually very predictable. If you want to buy an Atlus game and don't want to spend a lot of money, wait around 3 years for the full version with a huge sales discount on Steam.

Atlus is not hiding anything. Atlus wants to make money and because Atlus games are not some kind of "live service game", they can only charge you once.

I really like the way Atlus tries to make money. If you complain about this, you haven't seen any modern AAA(A) game, where it's full with Cash Shop stuff that allow you to skip playing the game and where you get reminded in game all the time to buy some useless stuff from the cash shop.

Atlus games are insanely niche and outside of their core audience there is not a lot of casual appeal. It would be financial incompetence not to have a high price, because Atlus games are very inelastic in demand. If Atlus would reduce the price by 50 %, there wouldn't be a lot more customers compared to the full price.

What do you want? A "Free2Play" gacha game which will cost you hundreds if not thousands of dollars with servers that will shut down in a few years or do you want a top tier singleplayer game that never ages and which you can play whenever you want and at worst just pay a higher one time cost with optional season pass later?

yeah this game was a remake. and a 70 dollar plus tax remake at that. making a expansion dlc shortly after is pretty scummy not gonna lie

I hope it will be possible to buy Answers alone without music and costumes. But I can allways wait for a sale. I already know how answers ends so there is no rush

Of course I don't have to buy the DLC. I didn't have the buy the game either. I just love when studios release content in piecemeal on top charging full price for an asset flip remaster of a game that came out 18 years ago.

I really wish they would have charged extra for the NG+ like with Infinite Wealth but too bad I guess I'll have to give them more money some other way.
Asset flip? By all means, please tell me where they got all those assets from. Especially all the shadows, persona, and character assets. Not only that, I still can't believe people are acting like the Answer was cut out to be release later when they clearly are taking time to make it. Six months is quite a bit of time.
People don't actually understand what an asset flip is. Their favorite youtuber said it about something and now they're parroting it.

Shortly after? 7 months after launch is pretty long imo.

Im gonna pass on this until it's $4.99, that's the most im willing to spend in The Answer since they decided to charge $70 for the main game, and honestly it's not even about the price, since 10 extra bucks isn't a dealbreaker for me. But they actually said that they wanted to "recreated the original experience" and that this is "a remake of the original 2006 JRPG" only to announce this DLC 1 month after the release, this just proves their word means ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I had a blast with the game, im not gonna lie, ATLUS knows how to make great games, but after this they've completely lost me. Im never buying another one of their game unless its 50% or less, so Metaphor and Persona 6 will have to wait. Unless we start voting with our wallets this isn't going to change. ♥♥♥♥ SEGA and ♥♥♥♥ ATLUS

They also called it a remaster, so I would believe it.

Lots of people use the terms interchangeably for some reason.
Imagine buying an atlus game on day one lol

It sold 1 million copies in 5 days btw, how is that insanely niche? I think you're still living in 2010s if you think Persona is a niche franchise

Definitely not buying it and have learned my lesson to never buy an Atlus game at launch again.

Ngl, if thats what gets you, then its best you don't buy any game that could have an expansion down the line at launch. Its always going to be cheaper to get it later anyway.

Why would you defend them at all? They told us P3R was the complete experience and not to worry about it when it launched, and now 1 month after releasing a $70 game with $30 worth of day one DLC they announce a $35 expansion pass.
We all make mistakes but now we know that they can be trusted. If you are still going to give your money to a company this greedy im sorry but you are just dumb. Im definitely waiting for Persona 6 ReScammed and a 50% discount
