The answer sucks, it ruins what was otherwise a good end to the story.

Just wait, you're honestly not missing much. The story unless redone was half and half. Either loved or hated. The gameplay? I really really hope they redo it.

The answer is just dungeon crawling with bosses with evade skills, there are also scenes between each part of the dungeon, is hard, but not as much as people made it. Storywise is a despiction of the grief after losing someone.

nah it won't happen since they already move on to their next project like Persona 1-2 remaster and Persona 4 remake

Leakers says its highly likely. Would make sense if they did it.

mostly people who play P3 in Japan didn't even like The Answer and it's kinda ruin the the P3 story, I believe Atlus won't even waste the resource just to make The Answer for DLC and it's better for them to move on to their next project like P6 or easy Cash grab like P4 remake.

Considering P3R is Atlus's best selling game, its highly likely if they manage to redo the gameplay. Also I have no clue as to where you got this "Japan didn't like The Answer".

play P3R (Merciless) -> FES The Answer (no difficulty choice) -> Portable Female Route (Maniac) -> if Reload The Answer release you can play it too

I mean, you definitely can play FES regardless. It's still a good game, and it'll make you appreciate (or at least give you Opinions) about some of the mechanical changes they've made.
Still, since we're likely getting the Answer in a year, you might as well just wait for it if the Answer is the only reason you'd want to do that. I imagine they'll make it less of a slog (I say this as an Answer apologist - it wasn't nearly as bad as people made it out to be, but it was definitely a slog)

Everyone talks about how it "ruins" the ending for Persona 3, and it really doesn't. It wasn't "necessary" purely from a plot perspective, but as a followup it was an exploration of grief that fit pretty much perfectly with the main game's tone. It also gave Yukari and Aigis a lot of really interesting character moments.

There are some Old article I read back then and it said P3 The Answer isn't quite popular in Japan Kinda hassle to search it by myself but believe what you want :satisfied:
but for me personal I think Atlus won't even bother making the Answer DLC since they already said P3R are complete experience for the original P3 and there won't be another DLC for the game

The rumors I've seen point to it being in the works, which is somewhat surprising to a certain degree, as it's generally not well liked. Unfortunately, the story of The Answer, as weak as it is, does lead into the Arena games, so it's part of canon whether or not we want it to be, so I do expect we'll see more of it. Even with how Tartarus is now, the gameplay in the original Answer was just not fun at all, and that'd be pretty hard to change. Maybe they'll revamp it? But I can't imagine they'll change the story.

Also, it's a side note, but I've only seen leaks pointing to a Persona 2 (and maybe 1, not sure if also 2 part 2) remake, and then a focus on P6. Nothing about P4 remake. So I wouldn't expect that for quite some time, even if I'd love to see it. Given Atlus' usual patterns, this does make sense, as P4 is generally the testing grounds for doing things with the other entries, so them starting with P3 with remakes leads me to believe a P4 remake isn't on the table. It would have been free money, and they know it, so passing up the opportunity for a P3 remake says a lot.

The Answer was referenced in a datamine as well as other planned DLCs to culminate in a DLC Pass. However there is no guarantee and they could release it anywhere between 31st of December 2025 according to what leakers say about the SEGA Longevity Initiative

Unpopular opinion but I played FES when it came out and was so burnt out by the end of the game I never even played the epilogue. I would do the same thing here again even if it was there.
