mostly people who play P3 in Japan didn't even like The Answer and it's kinda ruin the the P3 story, I believe Atlus won't even waste the resource just to make The Answer for DLC and it's better for them to move on to their next project like P6 or easy Cash grab like P4 remake.
Still, since we're likely getting the Answer in a year, you might as well just wait for it if the Answer is the only reason you'd want to do that. I imagine they'll make it less of a slog (I say this as an Answer apologist - it wasn't nearly as bad as people made it out to be, but it was definitely a slog)
Everyone talks about how it "ruins" the ending for Persona 3, and it really doesn't. It wasn't "necessary" purely from a plot perspective, but as a followup it was an exploration of grief that fit pretty much perfectly with the main game's tone. It also gave Yukari and Aigis a lot of really interesting character moments.
There are some Old article I read back then and it said P3 The Answer isn't quite popular in Japan Kinda hassle to search it by myself but believe what you want
but for me personal I think Atlus won't even bother making the Answer DLC since they already said P3R are complete experience for the original P3 and there won't be another DLC for the game
Also, it's a side note, but I've only seen leaks pointing to a Persona 2 (and maybe 1, not sure if also 2 part 2) remake, and then a focus on P6. Nothing about P4 remake. So I wouldn't expect that for quite some time, even if I'd love to see it. Given Atlus' usual patterns, this does make sense, as P4 is generally the testing grounds for doing things with the other entries, so them starting with P3 with remakes leads me to believe a P4 remake isn't on the table. It would have been free money, and they know it, so passing up the opportunity for a P3 remake says a lot.
