Save file bricked from not owning the P4G BGM Pre-order DLC. Any options?

I was originally playing this game from the family-shared library of a friend. This friend pre-ordered the game and received the P4G BGM Set. My family shared game was given this bonus, even though I never actually used the DLC. I decided to purchase the game for myself because I really enjoyed it and wanted to play it without the limitations of family share, but now my save file refuses to be loaded.

Can I do anything about this? I would have loved to just bypass this entire headache by buying the missing DLC, but it's NOT AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE.

I think you can do it with mod menu and turn off the dlc flag, but since the game is new no one discovered the number of the flag.

Thats normal You can't expect the save to work without all its content present. Most likely will have to start your own game.

Do you have any idea where the flags would be posted online when they are found? I am having the same issue as OP.

I consulted the Persona & SMT Discord server to see if anyone had any solutions. Someone said that they were able to load their game after verifying the integrity of their game files. I personally cannot test this as I already received a refund for the game. Could you give that a try and report back?

Okay, my copy of the game hasn't been revoked yet so I was able to test and see if verifying game files actually worked. It unfortunately doesn't, so I'm stuck waiting for the refund to go through so I can keep playing with family share.

EDIT: My copy of the game never got revoked, so in probably the weirdest situation possible, I cannot play P3R without restarting from the very beginning because I no longer have access to the DLC... in theory. If you found this via Google, you should be able to continue by using a British rock band formed in London in 1966 API. The DLC's ID is in the Steam Store Page: Persona 3 Reload - Persona 4 Golden BGM Set.
