The head shot gimmick..
Idk.. I never played P3, so I was like "Oh, cool, they do a little emotional sui ciding to unlock their personas in the beginning, nice!"... but they really just head shot the whole game? Really?

I dont think the act in itself is dumb.
Makes me really appreciate 4 and 5

Yeah you diss Persona 3 where 4 and 5 have a similar but yet different ways of summoning personas.
You do realize that P5 has a more gruesome way of summoning a Persona than 3. The characters literally rips the mask off their faces drawing blood

looooooooool, not the mask ripping and the tarot card summoning!! Yeah, the symbolism of tearing away their bindings is truly terrible and comparable to suicide. In reality, P4 and P5 are leaps and bounds ahead in terms of taste and they dont rip the mask off every time you use the persona.

you got those repetitive tropes in all modern persona games

The difference is Tarot cards and mask removal aren't gimmicky, nor seen every time you use a persona. The evoker is literally a gimmick, as it could be done once per character or even per battle, and it would have taste and still get the point across, but every single time you attack is just a desperate unnecessary feature or action whose purpose is to attract attention or publicity. Literally gimmicks definiton

Same animations? Except I clarified we are discussing the head shot animation specifically, which is much more over the top than any other action in any persona title, and could have atleast been given some variance

I don't even know what you're talking about. You're dissing P3 and praising P4 and P5, even though these games also have repetitive action animations. You know all three of them are basically the same, just with more or fewer mechanics or features. Maybe I think you're just acting like a boomer who hates the idea of characters in the game pointing a gun at their heads during actions, or just acting like a idiot for clown awards

Too bad this game is not for you. You can go back to P4 and watch the MC crush the card over and over to summon Persona, which you said is not repetitive

They don't use the tarot cards or mask ripping on every single attack in the other titles, junior. Its obvious the point I am making. The first time is interesting, the 8000th time head shotting for emotional recoil is ridiculous.

If all the personas were basically the same we wouldn't play them all get a grip.

Don't make me laugh since you are the one who is complaining about the summoning Personas by head shot.

Its not a gimmick. IT makes total sense. You are injecting a different persona into your brain. You are not shooting yourself in the head with a bullet. How else would you put the persona in you. People just don't understand what it signifies. Evoker...It evokes a persona which comes out the end. IT needs to get to your brain so you can use it.

That isnt even what is going on... The evoker doesn't have bullets, its a symbolic action showing they've faced themselves. The personas are their inner self. They aren't injecting their inner self into their heads lol

NOt..IT is not symbolic. If it was it would be doing nothing at all. You can see the blue stuff come out the end and go through there head..lol. What exactly do you think the blue stuff is that flys through there head. symbolic blue.

Are you sure you have played those games? In P4, whenever you use skills, they have the same animations crushing their card EVERY SINGLE TIME. It's the same with P5, but they already rip off their mask while you're selecting skills. Unless they act freely, you can see them rip off the mask EVERY SINGLE TIME too. So, basically, it's the same case with P3 when they use the gun ONLY WHEN THEY USE THE SKILL.

Just like I said: you're not even play the game and just butt-hurt with the idea of pointing the gun at the head to summon Persona.

You sound pretty upset, that you are willing to have a meltdown and try and compare tossing a Tarot card to shooting themselves in the head. You sound 13. I know, youre super edgy, thats fine. Good for you. The mask though? they dont rip their mask off on every attack. Just straight up lying.

...you dont even know what you speaking on bro lol. You said "how else do they get the persona into them" now youre talking about it going through them.. Yeah, cuz its not the persona shooting out of the gun, its just supernatural energy ..go off tho
Ragna Feb 15, 2024 @ 7:08pm
It's a gameplay mechanic that you play static animations 10000s times over a course of the game lol

Do you think in regular rpgs they swing their sword/weapons in the exact same way for 1000s of enemies over a story and that's what they actually do canonically only.

If you dislike the fact they don't "change" the shooting themselves to summon persona again sometime in the story then it's whatever really lmao.

You have already shown you don't know what your talking about arguing with several people. SO whatever. We all know it not what you make it and that is all that matters.

Lol, they did, that how they summon their Persona. In game, it's just 1s animation when you open skills menu, and they only change their pose slightly to use the skill.

Again, you play the game on youtube and butt-hurt about it, I believe it's best to let you continue crying about a game you've never actually played.

You are the one who has no idea WTF you are talking about. Since I bet that you never played any of the Persona games.
