apparently if you have a multi monitor setup that causes the game to crash (not sure why)
the first game what make such problems. now my whole pc is busted. yeah. sure.
yeah i have read about that aswell, but i have only one monitor
*sigh*
Look, you've got some possible answers in the crash log:
When you have a memory address with no location, that typically means that some software external to the crashing application is attempting to write into a memory space that it has no permission to write to. Keep this in mind.
This is a bit more direct. Kernel32 is the Windows kernel. ntdll is the user-space access point to the kernel. What is accessing the kernel? Denuvo. But why does this game work fine for most players?
This requires more digging and googling, but there is a known bug with Windows 10 and 11 where some Cumulative Updates upgrade your kernel with a version of the kernel from Microsoft's Dev Channel even though you are just using the normal release channel. This can happen due to a random update but mostly manifests when you switch to the Dev Channel then switch back, upgrade from Windows 10 to 11, or have a prebuilt PC from certain OEMs that use a system image that was upgraded rather than made from scratch specifically for Windows 11.
The only fixes are to either roll your updates all the way back to before the kernel upgrade and hope that any updates that reapply don't break it again, or delete everything and install fresh. Not refresh or restore, but completely fresh with a blank slate. Definitely not ideal but you'll run into future issues with crashing and stability the longer you use a system with a mismatched kernel beyond the crashing issues with P3R.
i switched my monitor just for the giggles. P3R worked. i switched them because of the "multiple monitor" problems. so i switched to my old one and now the game runs.
you cant say that my PC is the problem. ATLUS just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up. thats all.
no i mean it in, i disconnected my current one and plugged in my old monitor i had in the basement
There may be a breadcrumb trail leading to the problem within this information that could (eventually) help others and help Atlus address this issue.
well both monitors are TVs. the "newer" one is a TELEFUNKEN D32H278KT3 TV with 50Hz refreshrate and the older one a old LG 32LD350 TV with 50/60Hz refreshrate. so i doubt any of them have GSync or FreeSync.
There are some games that require 60Hz or VRR or else they crash. Maybe P3R is unfortunately one of these games?
that may be. but since i use my other TV, i dont have any problems anymore
The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Launch permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
