Network features turn on or off?
Sorry, another question, just getting the hang of this.

I play single player almost exclusively and I don't like network features like the social link that tells me what other players did or do in the game. It even spoils things.

If I turn this off, is there still a way to see a schedule of people and when who is available for an activity so I don't miss important stuff?

The ONLY thing network does is log and display what OTHER people playing this game did on the current day when pressing the corresponding button...

Turning it off changes nothing in your game besides the fact you can't use it as an inspiration for what you should do on a sunday with both Hermit and Tower Arcana's unavailable...

Map markers telling you the availability of Social links and questmarkers will still appear on the minimap.

I hardly ever use this feature unless I REALLY don't know what to do on a day xD

It also tells you class answers, so really useful when you are dumb or don't want to open a guide everytime

I don't use this online "feature" nor will I ever use it. It is cheating. Why would I need inspiration or why would I need to do and see everything in a single playthrough? This achievement hunt has distorted our perception of gaming.

On another note: does anyone know how to turn this off for good? I'm mighty tired of choosing OFF every time I start the game. Why doesn't the game remember my choice?

I am going for 2 playthroughs. I know I will miss out on certain Social Links because I will not use a guide.

I played through the game multiply times in the past, played all versions of this and some modded ones. I KNOW I am not going to optimize anything. I do remember which SL I don't need to look at for the majority of the time, or those I need to force asap.

And I like doing random jobs, waste my time on different activities like eating suboptimal meals, doing study sessions instead of eating some prodigy meal, etc. Looking at what others did is a nice thing if I am not sure on what to do a specific day.

And it's not about Achievement hunting, tons of players are not even playing "optimally" from what I saw. Tons of people are doing stuff which are not progressing the correct thing at the correct time or progress something like Magician when a more important SL is possible.
It's really handy for keeping track of who you can visit on that day.
