question about DLC personas

I just noticed they're in the compendium for free at the very start of the game. I was kind of hoping they'd just be organically worked into the game's fusion tables. So I'm just wondering, is the only way to get these through the compendium, or will they also show up as fusion options later? Because if I do use them I'd rather fuse them so they come pre-loaded with abilities and such.

Otherwise I guess I'll just be patient and resist using them until I'm close to whatever level they are, cause it seems like an easy way to trivialize the whole game.

You can fuse them from other personas

You can fuse them normally. They'll show up in the fusion search and dyrad. Actually better to fuse then since out of the box they're pretty limited as leveling up persona's naturally without any xp boost from your corresponding S link is painfully slow.

So horrifically slow I think Imma just rush rank 10 on the slinks and do a single build for all of the remaining.
