Persona 3 is kinda like the Final Fantasy 7 of the series in that it's a classic but as with THAT game, the remake has people divided
I thought it was worth it
I would say start with Persona 4 just because it's cheaper. The intro for this game is long enough to push you beyond the 2 hour mark and be unable to refund.
If you can find a way to play Persona 3 FES, that's the best bet. Do NOT settle for playing Persona 3 Portable.
i'm playing it on game pass right now, and it's good, but not $70 bucks good. persona 5 royal is $70 bucks good, can get that instead if you want to pay full price.
I'm honestly curious if you'll feel the same way once you're done with the story... in some aspects I think the story of 3 is better than 5
The remake has people divided? Which remake is that? This or FF7? Because neither have poor opinions of them.
I second this. You can grab P5 for super cheap and it is objectively a better game than P3R. P3R is still good and worth it though, albeit the game mechanics feel dated in comparison. It's a remake not a new game.
What about 5 though? I personally preferred SMTII, which absolutely could not be re-released with the same deities I don't even think today..
Hell even the fight with Yahweh might be censored today..
