Steam Deck Users: Use Proton Hotfix

It just got updated with the P3R fix and now the minimum I get in the Velvet Room with low shadows and reflections off is 55 fps. Everywhere else I've tested is a solid 60fps so far.

This does work from the quick test I just did. At 100% render you get 60 fps, At 200% you get 30 fps.

The opening had a huge framerate drop to sub 30 when you got outside the dorm (prior to the title card) prior to the hotfix. Now it runs at a pretty solid 40fps (I capped it at 40) barring normal for unreal loading fps drops.
This definitely make it far more playable and the GPU is being hammered far less than it was (which is good).

The Deck is now defaulting to the hotfix as Valve's chosen proton version - no need to change manually. No need to do a 40 FPS lock anymore - it holds 60 everywhere but the velvet room in testing for 10 minutes or so.

Can confirm. Steam Deck OLED. Everywhere that was messed up before (eg: dorm room, Tartarus) now runs at 60FPS

Awesome will get that later! Can recommend 1440x900 as a resolution. The faces and all look so much better!! Hope we can get 40fps locked now with the hotfix
