"weak" or "critical" hits not triggering characters "animation"?

Any one else noticed this ( this https://imgur.com/a/eDjASPs)? Sometimes i can get as 3 in a row but sometimes there is none or am i missing something else triggering this?

If you are talking about the cut-in animation then there is no guarantee it will happens all the time. But compare to the P3F or P4 it happens way lot now especially in P3R.

Yeah the cut in animation in combat! But still why it sometimes happens 3 or 4 times a fight and sometimes zero ?

As I said there is no guarantee it will happens 100% but the chance for it to happens is very high. If you play FES or P4 getting 10ish cut-in per character in 1 playthrough is almost impossible.

It's just a % chance of occurring. All it does is assure you that you aren't going to miss.
