How do I complete mission 8, "experimenting with fortune telling"?

I went to the fortune teller, bought the said telling and went into Tartarus. Can't complete it. Why?

Once you actually encounter a gold hand it should activate and you can turn it in, kind of weird wording on the request

Hm I did encounter one, the game even showed it especially. Still I cannot turn it in. I think my game bugged out for now.

Hmm, weird. Maybe you have to actually kill the hand? I'm not sure, there's another thread about it so it's possible it's bugged but on the Gamepass version I was able to complete the quest

I did kill it. But I really do not want to bother anymore with this, I just wanna play. Seems like I cannot fulfill that request after all.

I think the problem is the mission may not be accepted. In the requests menu, check if the mission is marked as "In Progress" or "Available". If the mission is marked as "Available", you must first Accept the mission (probably) before hunting for the rare shadow. Not sure if helps I just recently discovered you can do that and may have something to do.

Accept the mission-> go to the fortune teller-> user her skill that increase the chance of spawning rare shadow-> go to the tartarsauce that night, the increase only last 1 night, you use the fortune teller you had to go that same night, kill the golden hand or something, report back to elizabeth

I did exactly that and it still won't unlock.
