Go into your library search for proton experiment in the search bar on the top left open it and go to the property's like you would any other game and go to the beta settings and click the drop down
Select the most recent version of bleeding edge
then go back to persona 3 select proton experimental for the custom proton in the games properties
boot the game and you will be able to run max setting reflections off and get 60fps 90% of the time or cap to 40/45 with 125% render resolution locked 100% of the time
For anyone with random crashing issues, this won't fix those, but it sure gets the game running smoothly until it does crash lol
I think that shows a lot of the weak performance on the Steam Deck's default 1GB UMA VRAM setting.
Whats the mesa driver is that somthing it downloads itself or do I need to manually go update it?
But yes, in the meantime switch Proton to the Proton Hotfix for P3R and add the launch option
