Will I enjoy if I dislike Persona 5 Royal?

I tried few years ago playing Persona 5 Royal but I did not like the dungeon part of the game, and its combat.
Lately I started playing more games like Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth and started to like turned combat gameplay and maybe Persona 3 vibe and world is more appealing than the fifth game? Will I like it?

My guess would be no. But hey give persona 5 royal another chance since you played Yakuza and if you like it now then yeah maybe it'll be worth.

Themes and tone are much more serious than P5. The central theme of 3 is confronting death and apathy, if that tickles you at all. It may be more interesting to you, but its a steep entry price just to try.

All Personas are very much alike. Highscool social simulator, Personas, Dungeons. So I would say no.

Go watch some game play first, but I don't think you will like it because it's a lot like Persona 5.

This game basically is 1 big dungeon with the visual novel stuff. If you didn't like persona 5 then you most likely will not like this, if you wanna give a chance I say give 5 a try again and if you don't like it I would say this probably isn't the series for you.

I played the Persona games since the first one was released and played especially 3 and 4 numerous times. 5.. somehow I just didn't like it, no matter how well it was made. Too much constantly repeated dialogue, the endless textchats, for me it made the whole gameplay a drag.
Played 3 and 4 again after 5 and still love those. So yes.. maybe you'll like 3, personally it's my favorite one. And reload adds quite a lot of things to improve some small anoying things of the original P3.

P3 have random generated dungeon where you will probably spend most part of combat part of P3R. If dungeon crawling was a turn off for you then P3 won't take your breath away neither.

Hard to say. You could buy it, rush to combat tutorial (around 1,5h in on normal pace) and see it for yourself. If you don't like you will be able to refund it.

3 has a much more likable cast but that may be different with the new, inferior voice cast.

Dungeons in P5 are undeniable better. Try giving Persona 5 another chance then if you end up liking it buy this game.
