Gamepass version crashing randomly (possible fix found)

I know this is the steam forum so sorry for posting here about GP version but I'm desperate.
The game works for around 10-20 minutes then it opens a prompt to close the game without saving, shortly after pressing no it just freezes and crashed to desktop.
I updated my GPU drivers (AMD RX6600), tried all the graphics setting and tried locking the frame-rate to 60 and VSYNC ON/OFF but the problem is still happening.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SOLUTION POSSIBLY FOUND: I was using my pc gamepass account by sharing it from my friend, I bought gamepass to my account without sharing and played for 40 minutes without problems, looks like the problem is with the PC Xbox app itself where it does something funny when sharing GP.

Its okay to ask here cuz xbox does't really have their own discussion threads.
A friend is playing it rn on xbox game pass and so far he had no crashes.

What prompt is showing up and what does it say? An error code or something?

Same ♥♥♥♥, no any error code... just game shutdown into windows screen.

it literally shows nothing, just a freeze then crash to desktop which makes it more annoying coz there is error to search about

Hi, I also have an rx6600 and the same problem, but I found a little compromise. When you start the game, turn off the Internet and then the flight will take place in 1 hour 30 minutes or 2 hours, I hope this helps you

Run Persona
Alt+tab
Close Xbox app
Close explorer.exe
Done

3 hours without crashes

killing explorer.exe might actually help. Had the exact same issue with game pass version of forza horizon 5 and killing explorer.exe via task manager actually solved it.

I had the same thing with Lies Of P, I found a solution - turn off the explorer, there is even fix for this that made for the Forza game. Google - Forza fix 2.0

I played all day with this "fix". 10 hours without crashes.

yes, it works! usually it crashed ~40 minutes after start, but now it works fine, played for almost 3 hours without any crashes. thanks everyone!

By explorer.exe do you mean "Windows Explorer"?

I tried to find this explorer.exe on my task manager but I don't see it only the Windows Explorer..

Happened to me as well, killing explorer and Xbox app does not work for me sadly

Well.. I bought the game few days ago also on a different account but its a fresh one. I made it, bought xbox game pass for 1 euro and its keep crashing like every 40min.

Gonna try the "fix" now, hopefully it works. Really annoying to re-do 1-2h content everytime it crashes :(
